So I was curious that since the MOAB is our only bomb to speak of, if we can do some “Will it fit” kinda stuff with them. Specifically I’m wanting to know if maybe a single MOAB will fit in a Gladiator (Gladiator, NOT Gladius) and just how many we might be able to cram in a Retaliator in the front and rear bays. I know the MOABs are a big A2 selling point, and we’d probably never convince CIG to let us use them anywhere else, but the A2 also has a few additional gigantic guns that help with the price tag, so maybe there’s that. Besides, if one MOAB will fit in a Gladiator, that puts it right in line with some other naval fighter bombers, like the A-4 Skyhawk, for example which could carry a single nuclear bomb. I’m sure we’ll get other bomb types, in due time, but after seeing those guys drop that one out of the MPUV Cargo, what can I say? I’m inspired.
