Cargo grid re-work/suggestion for the RSI Apollo Medivac from Star Citizen for easier loading and unloading of the ship. I remeshed the shell of the ship, added a few ship internals around the location of the cargo grid, made a cargo grid with extending cargo elevator arms, rigged it up and animated it. All parts of the ship are to scale (1:1 to the ingame model). For this I used the ingame starmap layout as a reference to be able to place all the parts, where they would go in the model without changing the internal layout or the outer shell. Originally, I just wanted to create something for myself, but the lovely folks over at the org "Imperial Arms" around streamer Lokenplays suggested to post and share with the you, the rest of the SC community. Maybe CIG picks up on my idea and gives us their re-work of the Apollo's cargo grid in the future, as it currently is fairly painful to load and unload cargo from the ship through the small ramp in the back.
