This is another idea I posted a few years back to the old forums. The concept is a larger version of the RSI Aurora class vessel designed to carry more cargo., or people. The single engine has been duplicated and rotated to a vertical orientation. The "wings" are larger. It is shorter and wider than the Aurora class. Consider it a pickup to the Aurora's station wagon. The cockpit is wider. I imagine it would be a two seater by default - and possibly have the ability to carry a cargo pod (similar to the Argo) with more seats. A "door" from the cockpit to the cargo pod would be optional. It would be cool to see interchangable pods. More likely would be to give owners the capability, for a cost, to upgrade or downgrade their cargo pods to fit the various purposes they need. So you'd see this is less advanced systems filling in for medical support. Pirates would use them as cheap troop transport. Think of how people all over earth use Nissan pickup trucks for whatever they need. Ships like this would be necessary for ship to shore and inter-system transportation of people and equipment. For example, the "cargo box" area between the two engines could be re-purposed as a "bus" for transportation to various places within a system, or from planet side to an orbiting vessel or station. It would have the same number of guns and thrusters as the Aurora; The larger size would make it less manoeuvrable. Two engines would likely counteract the larger mass and give it nearly the same top speed as the Aurora.
