[Update: 17 December 2017] Changed the ships exterior shape (without modifying the interior blockout), because I thought the old exterior shape looked too bland. A render showing off the new exterior: orthographic views for the exterior shape: Additional perspective renders, including the view from the cockpit (top left): [Original Post, (OUTDATED)] I've been thinking about how I would set up my ideal ship's interior, while staying within the constraints of the Star Citizen universe. Right now, the interior design from, from the tip of the loading ramp (in closed position) to the front most tip of the pilot dashboard is just under 17.5 meters* and about 4 meters wide. Each compartment has at least 2 meters clearance between floor to ceiling. The cockpit is somewhat cramped and I may enlarge it. The cargo capacity could easily be expanded to 9 SCU, but I feel that would be at odds with the ships as designed by CIG, although I may just go ahead and widen the cargo compartment a bit (although there needs to be room for the ship's twin engines). I've an exterior design as well, but I'm not happy with it yet, so maybe I'll show it later when I've come up with something that fits better within the Star Citizen universe (I'm also open to collaborating with others, if somebody is interested). *For comparison, the Aurora has an (outside) length 18.5 meters.
