I usually post on Reddit and the Hub, but figured I'd share my accumulated art all in one place on Spectrum. It's worth noting my ships are usually a mix of my own custom geometry combined with CIG's geometry, shaders, and decals. I also often use in-game screenshots or their artwork as backgrounds. Anvil Osprey A versatile fleet support ship, the Osprey's modular rear section allows it to change roles aboard capital ships like the Idris or Polaris. It has modules for cargo, refueling, airlift, and medical. These are inspired by the capabilities of the real-world MV-22 Osprey and utility helicopters like the MH-60 Seahawk. Anvil Aerospace Vesuvius-class Cruiser Built around two size 12 railguns, the Vesuvius can engage larger Vanduul Cruisers and Carriers. Unlike the Bengal which has four on a turret, these are fixed. The range is considerable, so the Vesuvius is also used for bombarding surface targets from orbit. It also has four anti-capital turrets with dual-size 10 repeaters for smaller capitals, two anti-large ship turrets with quad size 7s, and four antifighter turrets with four size 4s. If a Javelin is like a large Hammerhead, this is a large Perseus. The Javelin has many turrets to intercept ships and torpedoes and can operate comfortably alone. While the Vesuvius is powerful, its six small turrets can be overwhelmed by squadrons, so it should be escorted. The Vesuvius also lacks the huge torpedoes but has many smaller missiles. I'll be posting more about the interior in the future. MISC Hull X Built to assist larger Hulls, the Hull X can quickly ferry 1024 SCU between stations and nearby planets. Unlike other Hulls, this ship has Argo RAFT-like cargo cranes on its vertically expanding cargo section. The pilot seat is also vertical in flight, but can rotate to land the contracted ship inside a large horizontal hangar. Typically operated near populated areas, it is lightly armed, armored, and shielded even for a Hull. I meant to do a dimensions page, but the ship is 99.2 x 43.5 x 35.5m when contracted, so it uses the same large hangar/pads that the C2 Hercules uses. The image below is a gif, but spectrum downsizes it, a higher def video can be found here: https://youtu.be/vH7wXr1izvs Consolidated Outland Klondike A tiny starter mining ship, the Klondike offers unique gravlev landing gear that allows it to hover across the surface while moving between deposits. It is small enough to fit in a Carrack, and uses a standard 8SCU Ore Pod compatabile with the MISC Expanse.
