While the Ideas are crystal clear in my head- they often turn to Parkinson's upon touching paper- So as a warning the ship was created with Starfleet42 shipbuilder. (I can't draw..yet) Introducing the Drake Dagger. You want your enemies dead? Let's get right to the point. We start out with 30 percent of a Valkyrie's size, fully manned with a crew of 2. The pilot, and the crew chief who will also double as the manned turret operator. In the main body of the ship there are 2 bench seats on each side of the airframe, each bench seat will hold up to 4 people. Forward of those seats are two side sliding doors with small steps similar to the Valkyrie, which allows for quick exiting of the aircraft. The back of the aircraft has a small ramp for basic onloading and offloading of personnel if you don’t want to use the side doors. The ramp being short enough that it gives protection as to also allow for a fast rope exit from the ship if close proximity to the ground is not an option. Your Crew chief/gunner will be responsible for the 2 Size 3 ballistic weapons in the turret while they're not giving directions to the poor souls on board. There are no crew quarters on this ship, no escape pods, no kitchen and the only comfort amenities are the small round windows looking out into space while you are seated. The only airlocks are the doors or back ramp you entered from. This is a dedicated infiltration dropship that sports a low IR signature for it's intended purpose. Your cockpit chair layout would be laid out almost to the same degree of simplicity as the Caterpillar’s. – No elevating or rotating chairs, no ladders, just a simple 2 steps up into the cockpit from your very lucky passengers. Your pilot will control a single size 3 or size 4 ballistic Gatling weapon on the nose of the aircraft, along with 2 size 1 laser repeaters on the wings, and to supplement that we have added 2 S3 missiles as insurance, one on each wing. Engines will be capable of VTOL operation with 2 rear rotating engines similar to the Drake Cutlass, while also sporting 2 smaller fixed engines fixed to the frame. Their placement gives safety to both users on the fast rope and side door usage. The ship cannot hold vehicles, but can hold a 2 SCU crate to carry additional ammunition or anti material munitions which will be placed center of the bench seats. Ship component information: 2 Size 1 shields, 2 size 1 coolers, 1 size 2 powerplant, 2 small sized fuel tanks and 1 small QT drive. Additional information: Due to the construction style of the engines, the Dagger can use low quality black market fuel to fly the ship, however the low grade fuel will cause the engines to push out extensive black vapor trails from the engines- leading to an increase in physical detection. Of course, unless you like sending a message. This ship relies on 1 important principle- Speed is Security. The lack of armor allows this ship increased speed and maneuverability, at the cost of damage control. We argued putting a fire extinguisher on board, but we figured you knew what you signed up for. The only onboard storage locker is near the pilot which is referred to as a SERE box, with enough room for a SMG and PISTOL, 3 magazines for each, nutritional items, and a variety of medical pens for the inevitable crash you will most likely encounter from mapping the canyons on Daymar. Inspiration came from- Titanfall 2's Crow and Goblin Dropships, The Anvil Valkyrie, The cutlass Black/"STEEL" and Avatar's C-21 Dragon Thanks for reading!
