A small overlay that tells you the moment a blueprint drops — and, since this release, writes the blueprint details straight into the game's own mission texts. Windows and Linux. No account, no cloud, nothing to install. Open source (GPL-3.0). Download: https://github.com/Xharig/SC-BP-Watcher/releases/latest --- The overlay A narrow, borderless window that sits on top of the game and reports every new blueprint the moment you unlock it — name, type, class/grade/size, time. No alt-tab, no browser. Opacity is adjustable (30–100 %), which matters if you only have one screen Drag it anywhere; it remembers where you put it A short sound when something drops, switchable Blueprint details inside the game This is the headline feature. Every contract that awards blueprints gets the list written into its mission description: BLUEPRINTS FROM THIS CONTRACT Blueprint chance: 100% Min. reputation: Contractor (2,200 XP) Payout: 393,750 aUEC Blueprints (2 of 3 owned): [x] Abrade Scraper Module [x] Cinch Scraper Module [ ] Trawler Scraper Module Plus a [BP 2/3] marker in the contract title, so you can judge a contract from the list without opening it. 681 text spots, in English and German. The tick boxes come from your own collection — no external service knows what you have, and nothing leaves your machine. Three ways to set it up: the German community translation, StarStrings by MrKraken, or the English original texts pulled straight from your own Data.p4k (no download at all — it takes 0.3 seconds). It keeps itself current: after a game patch or a translation update, the details are re-applied automatically. Without that you would silently end up reading stale data. Your collection fills itself On first start the tool reads your stored session logs and works out which blueprints you already have. Nothing to type in. If a gap remains — logs only go back so far — it says so, instead of presenting an incomplete list as complete. If you use the SC Deutsch Launcher, its collection file is picked up as well, including from a mounted Windows drive on a dual-boot system. The blueprint list Search by name, category, class (military, stealth, civilian, …), manufacturer or grade Filters: all / owned / missing / watched Four sections you can show and hide: ship parts, FPS weapons, armor & clothing, other Progress per section and overall Where each blueprint comes from — faction, contract, required standing, payout, and where the contract can be picked up. Sorted by the easiest route first. "I'm missing X" is half the information; "X drops from Bit Zeros' Data Transfer, no standing needed, available at Hurston, Crusader, ArcCorp and microTech" is all of it. Watchlist Click the star on anything you're waiting for. When it drops, you get a loud, unmistakable notice — and the fulfilled wish removes itself from the list. The rest Setup wizard in five steps, repeatable at any time Settings window for everything at once — paths, language, check interval, sound, opacity German and English interface, switchable, effective immediately The tool works out your game language by itself from your logs, so it is not limited to languages someone entered in advance Update notice with a version history, and one-click self-update Autostart on both systems ## Why you can run this without trusting me personally The source is open and readable. It runs entirely on your machine — no account, no telemetry, nothing uploaded. Downloads come only from github.com and are verified as such. The one thing that touches your installation is the in-game blueprint details, which modify the global.ini text file. You are asked before that happens, nothing is preselected, and it can be undone byte-exactly. Everything else only reads. Where the data comes from scmdb.net — the blueprint catalogue and item values The SC Deutsch Launcher team (rjcncpt) — the prepared contract data, 813 contracts in English and German, published openly alongside their translation MrKraken's StarStrings — an optional base for the English texts Free No paywall, no ads, no premium tier, nothing behind a login. Everything described above is in the download. None of it is bundled with the tool; everything is fetched at runtime from its own source, on your machine, at your request. This project would not exist without any of the three. Feedback and bug reports: https://github.com/Xharig/SC-BP-Watcher/issues
