Boring but important. Trams serve an important role in cities, not just to unload passengers into the path of inattentive motorists but to get people from A-B in the most leisurely possibly timeframe. If you're in a rush, this is not the mode of transport for you! This is my original design for a retro-futuristic tram (seating coming soon...). It's part of an application to get into an Industrial Design degree so I can get a work visa overseas designing spaceships (only four more years of full time work and study if I get into the degree!) but I thought I'd share it here in case someone might want to put one in a city mod one day. It's designed to fit into our local tram system, hence the pantograph on top (in the slightly further future, these would of course have batteries). Our National Gallery has stained glass windows as an architectural feature so I thought I'd echo that and make something that not just design folks might like, but perhaps those who like art as well.
