I've read a few posts claiming changing variables in the USER.cfg doesn't work or is blocked somehow based on a console message. They absolutely do work and if you need to test this for yourself, put these 2 lines in a USER.cfg and tell me how the view out your helmet is :slightly_smiling_face: Con_Restricted = 0 r_Refraction = 0 My current USER.cfg has bloated to 189 lines (with comments) so far and the improvement in performance is drastic, it is worth playing around with if you have the time and inclination. I also saw it mentioned that this might mess with CIG testing or something but in a crash your current USER.cfg is captured so they would be able to see your settings and might actually end up with more information.
