My spouse is my primary gaming partner and we're ready to take on the verse. But, we're not looking for a 3rd wheel NPC and these won't be our only ships, just what we use when we play together. So, for modders out there (not CIG as you're pretty busy), I'd like to point out that all we have in the way of non-combat/cargo two crew ships are: Freelancer - exploration Reliant - News Van, Research, Explorer Terrapin - Exploration Herald - InfoRunner As Exploration goes, none of those will take a rover (Important as the dog won't fit on a Dragonfly). The next options for 2 people is a Cutlass, 600i, or Constellation and they'll either need automated crew stations or NPCs. These ships seem big/expensive for a two person crew and don't seem to fit most of the missing roles. Best viewed as "nested/old", but here are hyperlinks to subposts to make sub-voting for easier for those in other views: Exploration with Rover Salvaging Prospecting Repair Update: We've been Moved! As a moderator moved our discussion about interest in two-crew ships into the modding forum, I suggest we make do and change the discussion to something modders might be interested in. That is, the design of two-crew non-combat/cargo ships.
