Hi guys, it’s been some time since I last looked the pc building market, a good 5 years I think and it’s reaching that time when I need to consider my next move. In the past i have always purchased Individual components and built my own system, however this time round, due to the fact I now have a daughter to look after and I work long hours I’m thinking of going down the easy route and getting a company to build one for me. :open_mouth: I have put the biggest budget I’ve ever put on a pc build of £4000 for this system as I really want to future proof it as long as possible and get at least 6 years if not quite a bit longer out of it, as I’m not getting any younger. I use a 4K 55” Sony TV as my main monitor and obviously a VR headset which Is the Rift. My main goals are at least 60fps in SC, DCS and Xplane 11 with the graphics maxed And obviously the closer I can get to 90 the better for the rift. At the moment I’m hovering around the 20fps mark with my current system although in SC I have turned the graphics down to medium, DCS and Xplane are set to high. My current system is as follows Intel I5 3570K overclocked to 4.2ghz 24GB DDR3 1600MHZ Ram, 3.5TB Hard Disk space, consisting of 1 x TB SSD, 2 tb western digital hard drive, 1x 500gb hard drive Nvidia GTX 980TI Hybrid black edition I have always been a Intel / Nvidia guy, although the ripthredder 2 cpus do look tempting. Been looking at either Scan or Overclockers for the build in the UK, but again I’m flexible if anyone can recommend a great company. Any advice would be greatfully received.
