I had a RX580 8gb gpu which could run SC decently enough. I eventually intended to pick up a RTX 3080 or RX6800 XT, but then the gpu market went crazy. The upside for that was that I sold my RX580 8gb for 4X what I paid for it and my GTX980 4gb gpu for 2X what I paid for it. That means until I can get my desired gpu at a reasonable price I'm using my old GTX950 2gb gpu which pretty much allows me to play every other game I have (even if on low settings), but sc not to so much. Still as someone who's not rich, but does have some money management savvy I cringe at the thought of paying msrp for a product and will definitely not pay the ridiculous prices I've seen for gpus above that. Yes I am someone who's help fund this amazing game, but I'll be patient when shopping for a gpu as I see a light at the end of the tunnel for the high prices coming down to at least msrp. Then I'll bit the bullet and spring for one.
