I'm considering these 2 options primarily to upgrade what I'm using on my mobo. (3800X is also an option but I assumed it's not worth it) I'll also be getting 32GB of RAM of the fastest RAM I can use on this board (3200MHz) I'll be using it for gaming, streaming and I might do some video/audio editing for content creation. 3900x is 12 cores where the 3700X is only 8 but the 3700X has a higher base clock and is only 65W so I'm not sure what the best option is. If people here can let me what they'd use in my position I'd appreciate it, I'd also like to know if there's much difference between them when it comes to playing Star Citizen.
