And another PC MasterRace baby is born. I did a bunch of research, compared a ton, you know the usual shopping to build something new. I'm pretty happy with the chosen spec and reasonably high mid capabilities. I indeed spent a little more, because I trashed my wallet financing a laptop that serves me well for business needs but not gaming. On the Q550LF laptop, I can't play Star Citizen without massive lag and problems in FPS and visuals. I think this will fix that and performance will be glorious compared to the laptop. *Bench : http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-4500U-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-1600X/2743vs3920 I'm excited about the build, the new video card should make the monitor looks great, and the SSD will be a massive performance increase. Parts are in transit, I fear only defective parts and noise issues I will have to take time to resolve. Wish me luck on first boot! Who wants to gamble on my FPS. Please enjoy and discuss my specs. *Case: ATX Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-02 Mid Tower Case http://www.corsair.com/en-us/carbide-series-spec-02-red-led-mid-tower-gaming-case *OS Windows 10 Home / Ubuntu Based distro Dual boot *Motherboard: MSI X370 KRAIT GAMING https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/X370-KRAIT-GAMING/Specification *CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X (stock cooler for now) *Graphics: MSI AMD Radeon RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/Radeon-RX-580-ARMOR-8G-OC/Specification *Power: Corsair VS Series, VS500, 500 Watt http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vs-series-vs500-500-watt-80-plus-white-certified-psu-na *Storage: SSD Samsung 850 EVO 3D V-NAND 500G http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/850evo.html *RAM: Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Desktop Memory Kit - Black (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-lpx-16gb-2x8gb-ddr4-dram-3000mhz-c15-memory-kit-black-cmk16gx4m2b3000c15 *Monitor: Samsung C(27)FG70 Series 27 inch 1ms Curved Gaming Monitor, 144hz - AMD Freesync https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/curved/lc27fg70fqnxza-lc27fg70fqnxza/#specs
