First off, I purchased an Asus gl702vs-rs71. I know there are optimization’s coming up this year to help with FPS performance but I am only getting 15-18fps at best with spikes down to 10 every now and then even on lowest settings. My old i7 3770k with SLI 970’s on a 1440 monitor was getting amazing performance about 8 months ago before I took a break from gaming. I bought the laptop lightly used, just making sure this is typical right now for this higher end laptop. Just kind of odd that an old desktop was running way better than this laptop that I dropped a lot of money on recently. I have the OS and SC on a https://m.newegg.com/products/N82E16820147593?nm_mc=KNC-GoogleKWLess&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleKWLess-_-DSA-_-FeedPages-_-NA&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqL-I8vyh2QIV2B6BCh3jmgUYEAAYAiAAEgI1ZvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds as well. Second, I want to try dual joy stick at some point along with my Saitek pro flight rudder pedals that I already own. This is my first laptop so I have never ran out of USB Ports on my desktops. How do I go about running two joysticks, rudder pedals, a mouse, my keyboard that requires two usb’s and my wireless headset that requires a usb slot. I need 7 USB ports but only have 3. 7 for now that is. With possible head tracking later there is no telling how many usb ports I will need. I know there are usb hubs but are there certain ones I need to look for that will allow me to get full benefit from every accessory? Is there any kind of degraded performance or software overlap issues from using hubs? Thanks!
