Hi All, I had horrible sticky frames which made Star Citizen almost unplayable. I've found this to be related to the E cores which is widely known but also just as important on my architecture was the version of the Intel Management Engine, at least for my Asus ROG Gaming Wifi Z790-F motherboard. My brother had the same issue for another version of the Asus Z790 motherboard. This is the link I used to access the Intel Management Engine update, of course if you have an Asus board your URL could be different. The version which gave me smooth frames was 16.1.25.2020. Please read through all your vendors recomended documentation and it would be wise to follow up with any relevent bios fireware updates as well. https://rog.asus.com/uk/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-z790-f-gaming-wifi-model/helpdesk_bios/ I can not stress this enough, if you have an Azuz Z790 motherboard and possibly older motherboards with active E-cores, you need to make sure you disable the 'E' cores in the bios AND make sure the Intel Management Engine software is updated to get the smooth experience in the PU. I know there is a script which can disable the use of E cores from the launcher, trust me this is a complete waste of time, once you've seen this running properly, you'll know what I mean. Good luck folks!
