I found this program called Alienware Command Center for my X51 R1. There is this option to change modes for the PC between balanced, high performance, and I think power saver. I was wondering, if I have a GTX 660 and I switch the mode to high performance, will that result in my PC dedicating more power and resources to my GPU, therefore giving me a small FPS boost to run this game or does that only have to do with power? In case you are wondering what I run as a setup. 1920x1080 resolution i7-3770 GTX660 with 8GBs of VRAM Some micro-ATX motherboard for X51 R1 8 GBs of RAM 500 GB SSD (which helps a lot running this game) One other thing I noticed is that running the PU is easier on my computer than running Star Marine. Don't ask how that is even possible, because people keep talking about the 20 - 30fps in the PU, meanwhile I get slightly more on low settings but when running Star Marine, I get 20 fps or something. I don't know....it feels heavy and like I am shooting rubber bullets because registration of any sort of action is slow, unless that is the server being itself as usual.
