I'm a low end budget PC gamer and love the SC universe and like to play it from time to time. I soon want to upgrade my PC as it has just become too slow and lagging. (not just for SC, but a generally overall good PC within budget) I want to know if I can at least get 30 - 40 FPS by upgrading to a Ryzen 1600/2600 in the PU at least in Port Olisar and while in outer space and dog fighting. I know that the game is under optimization and we can't expect it to run very well in low end PCs. Right now if I'm on a good server instance I get anywhere between 15 - 25 fps even if I'm just spawning my ship in Port Olisar or just trying to fight a NPC pirate near Yela :disappointed: My current PC specs are as below (it's a Potato PC, I know) CPU - FX-6300, overclocked to 4.2 GHz (very old Piledriver architecture chip which screams like a hair dryer put on max heat settings  ) GPU - RX 580 8GB (don't want to upgrade this as this GPU is just fine for its price and plays RDR2 and other titles phenomenally well for its specs) RAM - 16GB DDR3 (very low clock speeds, not sure how much, will have to upgrade to DDR4 with the motherboard when I get Ryzen CPU) SSD - 256GB Samsung 860 Evo (and Star Citizen is running from this) Monitor max resolution - 1600 x 900 (slightly less than 1080p) I play at a resolution of 1600 x 900 (or even less sometimes) at High settings. I don't mind playing it at low resolutions as long as it is at least 30 fps. And I saw this thread below in this forum and wanted to know if there's anything I can do similarly to my FX-6300 CPU in the meanwhile to squeeze 3-5 fps more : https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50174/thread/developers-hate-this-boost-your-ryzen-performance- Appreciate all your advice and help :slightly_smiling_face:
