Greetings fellow Citizens! I am searching for like one or two months now, for a Joystick that has these minimum features from stock: 1. four way hat at the thumbs resting position, 2. the Z axis available by turning the stick, 3. AND LEFT-HANDED !!! It is already nearly impossible to find a stick that combines one and two, let alone all three. To give you some examples: I.e. the Thrustmaster Warthog has no Z axis and while VirPil Mongoos would have a left handed version, but it has neither a Z axis, nor a 4 way resting thumb button. Also if you found the CHproducts Fighterstick, the promised Z axis, is not integrated into the grip it self, but you have to turn a wheel at the bottom of the Joystick for the Z axis (fyi, i did not buy the Joystick, but I was talking yesterday evening with an official from CHproducts). What these three companies have in common is, that they are individual enough, that you MIGHT convince them to create a mirrored left handed joystick,... but as you certainly have noticed, they all are missing the high end features of ONE and TWO. Now that brings us to the last Joystick that I found, the Logitech Saitek x56. This is the only right hand Joystick that combines one and two, BUT the company producing it seems too big to go only one step out of their way, even if it would be for the sake of making profit (again after having spoken to their people). Yesterday I just mentioned this in two channels and even without more PR than that, two people contacted me about this. Hence I reckon, there might be quite a demand for this out there, even in our community alone. So here comes my question: Whom of you would be interested in a Joystick that combines points one AND two AND three, and would also be willing to pay,... lets say up to 300$ for such a Joystick? If you would, please vote with this emoticon:  . Also it would help, to upvote this thread and to spread the link to it. With best regards, Clyde. P.s.: to be clear, this is not about getting such a thing done, at least not yet, but it is about knowing how many people would be there to buy such a Joystick. P.p.s.: also I know that there are molders, that custom mold left handed joysticks from right handed ones, but the problem with these is the guarantee void on one hand and the shipping problems on the other hand. P.p.p.s.: Why such a high price? Well, saying "I want" is easy, being willing to pay up to a very conservatively estimated price, that is the real question. P.p.p.p.s.: I know there might still be a CIG Joystick project around, at least I hope so. If so, I want CIG to know the magnitude of the request for these 3 minimum features and to comprise them, while if not, this poll will let me know if organizing such a thing would make sense or if I would go better by going through the trouble of ordering custom molded Joystick and bringing it through the toll (for like 400$ in addition to the Joystick it self). P.p.p.p.p.s.: Do NOT put advertisements into this thread, if I can I will delete them or have them deleted. If you think you know or sell a product, that meets the stated requirements from stock, let me know. I will check it and put it's advertisement here, if all stated requirements are met. P.p.p.p.p.p.s.: yes I know this might fit into the hardware section, BUT the purpose of this thread is not a hardware discussion, but an information gathering from the whole community, not from the hardwarenerds only.
