Hi, I'm an older gamer and don't understand newer terminology (I did most of my gaming in the 1990's)...I also stopped understanding building computers after pentium 2's....so bear with me. I recently bought a system off craigslist to play SC reminiscing about the days of wing commander. After, combining parts from the old family computer to the new system I have this: i7-5820k (liquid cooled) 32gb ddr4 RAM 1080ti 300gb HDD (operating system here) 150gb HDD (empty) 110gb HDD (empty) There's also an empty port on my motherboard where I can add a SSD that's m.2 according to the documentation. I only get stutters in cities. So I'm curious. Can I do some computer finagling and combine the empty HDD's to act as one big drive to boost performance? Or, should I look for buy a SSD and move SC over to that drive? Thanks for your input
