Good Day fellow Citizens I'm currently in the process of setting up a new system, in fact I do have most of the hardware I planed to use already here which, in retrospect may not have been the optimal solution, because I kind of bought myself into a corner as far as a (potentially new) case is concerned. The problem is that (as with my current system) i went with an 12 in. x 10.7 in. (30.5 cm x 27.2 cm) E-ATX motherboard. I'm also running (a minimum of) 1x 3,5in and 3 2,5in HDD/SSDs (currently ist 2 and 4). The Carbide Air 540 I do currently use fits the stuff i have, and would (probably) fit the new stuff as well, but after almost 4 years I wanted to try something new. I've been looking at the Corsair Obsidian 500D SE, but I keep getting conflicting information about its ability to fit EATX boards (due to their width). Could someone help me with information about if it would fit or how much (potentially) the cable grommets would be obstructed? As an alternative I've also been looking at the Thermaltake View 71 TG RGB (not sure about the room with an H150i in it) Any experience here? If all else fails I could always go for the Obsidian 100D or the Cosmos C700P/M, but those two are somewhat oversized for my desk (and hurt the wallet much more too). Granted those last two would allow me to go ham with custom water cooling later down the line, but still not the first pick atm. So Advices, Opinions? Thanks in advance.
