I'm considering getting a HOSAS setup. What i am really after is the ability to get more control over the axis that are in-game during flight. However, my budget is limited and i have been looking at joysticks to see what is available in the lower-end price range, i'm considering the range of 100-180 euros for a pair, as it seems to be almost nothing cheaper than that where i live. In the past, i have used Thrustmaster Flightsticks, but this was years ago, back when i played WC3 and the like. I noticed that in the pricerange i was looking at, there were 2 sticks that stood out. One of them is the Thrustmaster Flightstick 16000M, which would cost me about 80 euros each, the other is Logitech G Extreme 3D Pro Joystick, and it costs about 50 euros each. Would a HOSAS setup using either one of these be okay, or would it be better to stick with mouse + keyboard until i could afford something better? Like i said, the main thing that i am after is better axis control. I would like right stick to be roll + pitch and the left stick to be throttle axis and slide. I'm pretty sure any joystick could do that, but i have not used joysticks for quite a number of years, so i would love to get some feedback also on what to look for and what pitfalls there are.
