Ok this is all speculative and im not going to try and back anything up with facts, just tossing this out here as a thought for discussion. I've been casually looking into building a new PC when SQ42 drops. However prices of certain components havn't been depreciating at the normal rate and some youtubers that do tech reviews have mentioned right now isn't a good time to build a new PC because of this. Interestingly i'd say the majority of people that buy components to build a PC are gamers and build gaming rigs. I think the developers of said components know this and also know that there are upwards 2 million people looking to possibly build new PC's in the not to distant future or upgrade something on their existing rig. Supply and demand kicks in and sellers of PC components can get away with keeping prices higher because of demand. So I wonder if demand has been keeping prices of some things up right now and that it will only get worse the closer the game gets to dropping. And then if the game blows the gaming communities and the worlds minds like many of us believe it will the demand and costs of components won't depreciate at what the industry standard has been and some things may increase in price as demand increases?
