Alright guys, CPU time. I have a semi unlimited budget for my next PC build. It's going to be a workstation mainly, but with some gaming. I need helping picking the CPU. The work I do won't require massive amounts of CPU power, but I want to know which CPU is going to help me out with Star Citizen. Lets keep it under $1000. My intial reaction was the 8700k for price and performance. But Threadripper is call my name. So what route would you lot go. Will pair with 1080ti's SLI minimum 16gb ram Optane SSD Also going to run a 3 monitor setup (for work, but will definitely try to get SC running on it)
