I have nerve damage from a C-spine injury and surgeries (One of which went pretty badly) and I cannot feel the keys very well. Using a membrane keyboard, I often hit more than the intended keys and it affects my gaming, and typing lol, it takes me forever to type anything for all the mistakes I make. I just cannot feel the keys very well. I tried a keyboard with mechanical keys, but the keys kept coming off, it happened about 10 times a day while typing or gaming, the keys would pop right off. I returned it after 3 days and have continued using membrane keyboards. It might have been a cheap board though, it was a Razer, which is what I use mostly, except wit6h mechanical keys and I paid about $80 US for it. But I am wonderi9ng that if I got a good keyboard with mechanical keys if the more tactile feel of the keys would help me out. It has taken me n10 minutes already to type this far as I have hit the caps lock key 7 times or so, I have opened up the Geforce Experience overlay, and have had the pop up asking me if I wanted to use the keyboard shortcuts several times lol. I am looking at the keys, but at least every third tap my fingers hit the next key over also. I wonder if it would be the same with mechanical keys or if you have to hit them more squarely on. I have to use a joystick (i LOVE hotas) and more times than not I have to glue buttons (The kind that go on a shirt) to the keys on the base of joysticks becausaed they are usually low profile so I cannot find them by feel.
