Anywho, way back sometime after 3.2 on my first account I had some PC issues and replaced some hardware and installed SC on a separate drive. Then for a very long time I'd crash and have a data .pk 4 error. I did everything in the world that I could find in any forum, on the RSI site, and still had the crashes every day, sometimes after 5 seconds of testing, and sometimes after 2 hours of testing, but I had them every day. This appeared to be kind of a rare crash but to those that got them they were very persistent. It was so bad I reached out to CIG and they had me try this and that with zero success. One question they asked was if SC was on my same drive with Windows as it could mess things up if not, not that it would, but that it could. On here there were many using a different drive with no issues. WHy can't a cat reALIZE TGHAT they cannot be standing on your hands while you type, and walking on the keyboard? Aftrer closing numerous tabs and such and getting the cat away I can carry on. I tried installing on the Windows drive, reinstalling Windows and everything but that error and crash was always present. Luckily a nephew screwed up my GPU and motherboard and after replacing them and putting in the latest Windows brand new, an update from what I had before replacing the hardware I never had the issue again. All that was to ask if I should install SC on the Windows 4TB NVME m.2 SSD, or the other 4TB NVME M2 SSD without Windows. I am concerned about space though as I do not want to add/remove games very often. Thank you.
