So, some months ago I had purchased the Roccat LEADR mouse and the Roccat Aimo 100 keyboard online, using my credit card. Recently, the side 'paddle' (a bi-directional button that wants to make you think it's analog, but isn't) broke (whatever keeps it centered - spring or some other mechanism - stopped working and the button is now 'floppy') and my keyboard often doesn't register that I have pressed certain keys (most often occurs with spacebar and w, although occasionally other keys as well, causing me to have to backspace often as I am typing, or missing input/actions while I'm playing a game). As I've had these peripherals for several months (I think at least six now) and really liked them (when they worked, of course...the form factor of the mouse is probably the best I've ever used in a gaming mouse, and the keyboard is very compact and fits nicely on my desk between my joysticks), I deleted the emails that contained the order information and invoices that they sent when I ordered them (thinking I'd be happy with them, as I actually love the form factors and button layouts). I contacted customer service and explained the broken paddle button to them. Initially, I got an automated response to my email that spouted something non-sensical having nothing to do with my email, and when I responded to that I finally got a person to respond to me (several days later) asking for numbers on the mouse and order numbers from the emails (that I deleted months prior). I gave them the ROC number on the mouse and told them that I had deleted those emails. I didn't hear back from them for over a week, until I finally replied to the email again asking them if they were ignoring me. They replied (today) with an email explaining that they couldn't find my name or email address in their system and therefore couldn't replace the mouse. I have already replaced the mouse with a Steel Series mouse anyway, but Roccat's poor quality in materials (broken buttons) and terrible customer service left a really bad taste in my mouth, so I wanted to warn people away from buying Roccat products. Like Razer, their mice look great and feel great (good form factors) but they are cheaply made and their customer service doesn't want to help anyone.
