So I got a crazy deal on a new Samsung 870 EVO 500GB for only $59.99 and replace it with my current 256GB 960 EVO that's now in my 2nd M.2 slot. I've noticed since changing this, and putting Star Citizen on the 960 EVO, the amount of just general stutters I have in game from objects loading into the game, is far less, like the experience is now much smoother. I didn't think I'd notice that big of a difference. I'm on 16GB of RAM, perhaps the biggest thing that's helping is the 500GB 970 EVO which has a 18GB total of cache that can run at around 2.3GB per second. Compared to my 960 EVO which only has 9GB (then it drops to 300mbps) and my pagefile for Star Citizen hovers around the 18-20GB range, so i wonder if that's why i'm getting these performance improvements. Not to mention that the game is now loading from a speedy NVME drive instead of my older 850 Pro SATA drive. Anyways I was originally going to buy 32GB of RAM for Star Citizen but i don't think i will anymore as this solves a lot of the issues i was having, namely lots of stutters when entering new places and stuff like that. What I would like to know is, is anyone experiencing the same behaviors as I do??
