Went with Virpril Constillation Alpha Prime L & R for sticks, both with VPC MongoosT-50CM2 Base, VKB T-rudder Mk.IV, MONSTERTECH HOTAS Table mounts, Tobii Eye Tracker, Star Citizen Game Glass on ipad, and SECRETLAB Titan EVO chair. My question is, should I also get a throttle, or would that be overkill? I really like using a throttle, and this will be my first time with the "dual flight stick" setup. I guess I'm wondering if "tearing the bandaid" off my throttle use and diving full in on dual sticks is the way to go, or will having the throttle there not be as big a hinderance as I'm imagining? I do have a 34" widescreen monitor and plenty of desk space and the additional mount for the throttle, so positioning shouldn't me an issue. I also wanted to get a take on the best transitional controller for on foot FPS gameplay. I have only played it with mouse & keyboard. Would getting a controller work out better? I'm having a hard time imaging using dual flight sticks as controls for FPS, so I'm not intending to do that. Mainly still undecided between Mouse/Keyboard or XBox controller. Thanks to anyone who posts trying to help out. Hot takes and casual forum abuse welcome, as I am a noob and this & just want to learn. I'm humble enough to admit I know nothing about competition level combat flight.
