Firstly, this is not a easy fix for the everyday person to do, it includes the need to be able to solder. Took sometime to research why this happened and how to replace the potentiometers, so i'll share the info so others can also fix their sticks. After a few months use i started to have 'jittering', in my twist actions (z-axis), so i looked more into it and saw i can replace and also perhaps stop this from happening anytime soon. I saw no need to buy replacement sticks after my ones had passed warranty, so i just replaced my potentiometers with new ones and now my T16000m's work good as new (4-6 months ago now from writing this). I'll start off with a YT vid on how to break down the stick, well worth watching. While you have the sticks apart you can also do a very simple and easy 'Mod' to stop the jittering from happening. (If your a new user of these sticks then you should in my opinion also do this). It will stop pressure being put on one side of the potentiometer and increase it's life span. The picture above shows the culprit to why you have the potentiometer failing in the first place. Just cut enough of the soft plastic away so it will no longer touch the potentiometer. Easy fix. No: 251B12T104A2NB Warning If your new to soldering practice on something first or get someone who has soldering experience to do the soldering for you, as a disclaimer soldering irons are very hot and you can easily burn yourself. Watch where the wires are routed so when you put the sticks back together again, you do not trap them. Take your time fitting the thumb buttons back correctly, it is very fiddly and takes a couple of goes to get them back fitted correctly. Lastly, i'll link to a reddit post about taking the potentiometer apart and cleaning it but, in my opinion it is a waste of time. I even managed to kill one of my potentiometers doing this process, your better off just replacing. https://www.reddit.com/r/hotas/comments/7ec712/t16000m_yaw_potentiometer/
