https://photos.app.goo.gl/SwQn2eLDwWgYmxXM2 Working on my flight stick mounts, thought I'd share some pics of what I got done the first day. I'll list parts and where I got them after I'm done since some of them are optional. The beams are from 80/20 inc. at https://8020.net/ which made up most of the cost and parts. Right now I'm kicking myself for not going with their 40 series (40mm) instead of the 15 series (1.5 inches) but with a little drill press action I've gotten the push/pull clamp to mount without major issues. Next up is drilling some holes in the wood platforms I have and mounting them to the horizontal beam. After that I plan on using 3M command strips and/or zip ties to attach my X52 pro and T16000m to them. Note the X52pro stick has bottom screw mounts but the T16000m has none so I'm going for a solution that will work for both. Plan is to replace both with some combination of VKB and Virpil gear once they both come out with the rest of their left hand space focused products. Right now I'd go with two VKB bases, MCG pro and a left hand Virpil grip, but waiting on price and reviews of the VKB left hand and Virpil Delta. Yes, my build is very similar to a certain product from across the pond. :slightly_smiling_face: Due to the high cost of shipping (and the product) I looked to see what I could put together on this side of the pond for less. Think I'm still under $150 USD for both mounts so far.
