So some game buddies and I go back a long way. A couple decades long. We pitched in what we could to get someone a computer that won't explode.. and introduce him to the world of desktop PC's.(issasurprise). I'm avoiding builds due to time, and risk of rejection, albeit incredibly low. The budget is also narrow, and I don't want to ship twice. (I'm holding other people's money right now. I can't risk a missed steak.) So my question:. AMD fx, 6300. How crap is it, and could it handle this with a decent GPU later in life? I am doubtful. (I run Intel, I have no gauge for amd.) Pot is 725, but must save room for display. ThanksThank... Thanks spectrum... Suggestions welcome, budget not negotiable. Thanks folks.
