Took me a long time find to find this too, i found a really old Saitek Cyborg Evo Joystick made for Windows XP lol, assuming it would't work with Windows 10 and modern games like SC...but i was wrong! With big help from this guy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEFeRieaL_k&t=189s), there is a work around. It's been viewed over 1000 times, but if someone is trying to get there old joystick working and doesn't know how...its actually quite simple. 1. Find the latest drivers for your make/brand. For me that meant download the 64bit version of the latest software and drivers from Saitek here: http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.php 2 Download VJoy here: https://www.youtube.com/redirect?v=pEFeRieaL_k&event=video_description&redir_token=Ybgm3LtTi4sqcGTJePaPws2LT0J8MTU0MDA2MTkxNEAxNTM5OTc1NTE0&q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.xedocproject.com%2Fheadsoft_vjoy_1_2.exe 3. Download JoyStick Curves here: https://www.youtube.com/redirect?v=pEFeRieaL_k&event=video_description&redir_token=Ybgm3LtTi4sqcGTJePaPws2LT0J8MTU0MDA2MTkxNEAxNTM5OTc1NTE0&q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.xedocproject.com%2Fjoystickcurves%2Fsetup.exe 4. If you would like to adjust dead zones, do that. For me it was using the Saitek software which i downloaded earlier. You can also adjust the joystick curves in...Joystick Curves (believe it or not) but i didn't bother. 5. Open Joystick curves (if it doesn't want to open, try ending it in task manager, and if needed, restart computer, it wants to work in the background), if you want you can follow the youtube video linked at the top, but basically create a new profile from the drop down "profile", then in the "Not set" tab > Source > Device, select your joystick. Then below that select axis > roll/pitch/yaw. Then across to "Destination" > Device select VJoy #1, then select the same axis as the source (roll/pitch/yaw). 6. Repeat this by creating a new tab, and selecting a new axis each time. 7. Open SC go to Options > Keybindings > Select Flight > Advanced Controls Customisation > Joystick/HOTAS > Flight Movement, then double click each key to rebind them. For pitch move the joystick forward (Y-axis), for roll i have it set to moving the joystick left/right (X-axis), then for yaw, i have it set to rotate or twist (if your joystick supports that). 8. Do the same for all the extra buttons on your joystick! Tip: I would unbind basically all keys for Joystick flight just to be safe. I found that many keys had doubled up, and i ended up just unbinding them all and starting from scratch. For instance my strafe up key was also interaction mode etc. As soon as you test it however, you'll soon find out. HAVE FUN.
