Hello everybody, I have a question regarding keyboard choice. I'm looking at keyboards with individual RGB key backlighting, like e. g. the Logitech G513. My idea is to illuminate only the keys necessary for the game I'm playing. While I'm sure that's perfectly doable with any of them, I also would like to make the key colors change if a modifier is pressed - like if I hold the "Shift" or "Control" key, I'd like the lighting layout to change in a way that now illuminates all keys that have a Shift+<key> mapping assigned. Can't think of a real SC key binding example right now, but imagine E glowing red regularly (as the "Use" key) and when I press Ctrl, I want E (and other keys where it makes sense) to glow green to show that I have mapped "Eject" to Ctrl+E. Are keyboards out there that support this? Lighting pattern changes based on key presses? By the way, why is it that all new keyboards look like someone forgot to put the top cover on, with the keys hovering all freely? I've had a look at the G513 today and I can't help but thinking that the keys are too high to comfortably type, compared to my old Logitech K280e. If there is a keyboard with individual RGB lighting that does what I described above and that has a more traditional look - I'd be happy for a hint. :slightly_smiling_face: Thanks, Coyote
