Hi guys, well last night my PC decided to kill itself And suffered a complete motherboard failure. I was planning to upgrade in about 18 months, sadly I now need to bring that forward significantl with the issue that I don't have the spare capital lying around. So I'm thinking it may be possible to at least purchase new components to get me back to a similar performance of my old system before it crashed and burned. Heras my last build was 5 years ago, I'm a tad out of the loop with regards to modern tech. So was wondering what you guys would suggest I get to at least get me back up and running where I was. Im hoping I can salvage the PSU, GPU and Hard disks. The old system was as follows, Intel I5 3570K, overclocked to 4.2ghz Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard 24GB DDR3 1600MHZ Ram, 750mb Hybrid Drive 1 x 1TB sata harddrive 1 x 2TB sata Hardrive Nvidia GTX 980TI Hybrid black edition, 1000w psu Windows 10 Pro 64 Any advice would be greatfully received.
