► 4.10.2026: 4.7.1 - More Hotfixes Inc CL 11617053 A new 4.7.1 client hotfix build with further client stability fixes is now on the HOTFIX channel! We plan on leaving this channel up over the weekend before moving it to LIVE We are testing further server side stability fixes on select shards this weekend (Hotfix has been merged into LIVE) System Specs: - CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (16‑core) - RAM: 64GB - GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti OC - Native Resolution: 3840×2160 - In‑game Resolution: 3840×1620 (ultrawide-style) Last year on 9/29/2025, I recorded a benchmark averaging 160 FPS. Since then, we’ve only had a handful of updates nothing major yet somehow performance has tanked. Now it’s 4/14/2026, and the game is barely playable. I’m no longer running 4K, I’m no longer using high settings, and I’m being forced to use DLSS just to crawl above 30–40 FPS, which I never needed before. Two months ago I could run DLSS at 66% now I’m stuck at 57%, and even then the game internally drops in frames. This is such a horrible game Now the game is effectively running at 720p, even though I set it to 1080p, because DLSS forces the internal resolution down. Dropping settings to low doesn’t help. Turning features off doesn’t help. The game stutters constantly and feels worse than ever. To get even 45–55 FPS, I have to lower resolution, lower settings, and rely on DLSS on a 3090 Ti, which is ridiculous. I FUCKING HATE DLSS I prefer running my games and applications natively whenever possible. And this latest update claims to have “improved client stability.” At this point, I honestly have no idea what happened, but the game is in a terrible state. What makes it even stranger is how inconsistent the performance is across players. Some people with much lower-end hardware even GTX 1070 Ti systems are reporting better framerates than I am. Meanwhile, you’ll see someone with a 5090 struggling just as badly as I am. It’s completely random. Your PC specs don’t seem to matter. Two people with identical builds can have totally different experiences. This game is a mixed bag of nuts and bolts slapped together, and not every system reacts the same way. Performance is all over the place, and right now, I’m on the losing end of that chaos. I remember when the game didn’t even have DLSS or any of these upscalers. It’s honestly wild how bad things have gotten since they were added. Before DLSS, I was pulling 180–288 FPS in most POIs and 80–120 FPS in cities all at native 4K. That was only 4-years ago. Now? If I turn DLSS off, the entire game collapses. I’m talking 10–20 FPS, even on DX11. How do we go from not needing DLSS and getting amazing performance… to the game becoming unplayable the moment DLSS is disabled? It makes no sense. And the worst part is how much the game has degraded since these upscalers were introduced. I was already settling for around 60 FPS with DLSS at 66% not because I wanted to, but because I had no choice but i was ok with it. But now? There is no choice. The performance is trash. It’s beyond trash. It’s dirtier than dirt even mud looks good compared to how this game runs now. This is exactly why we started doing benchmarks for every patch to see if things actually improve. People always claim the game is “better,” or they "troll" every post that complains about it but I’m calling placebo-effect on those types of people. The numbers don’t lie the game has fallen apart. This isn’t directed at you, good sir the one about to comment because you’re seeing better frame improvements this patch. But plenty of players who do have issues never speak up because of how badly they get dogpiled by trolls. So not only are we fighting the game’s awful FPS problems, we’re also getting harassed just for trying to bring these issues to light. It’s ridiculous that reporting performance problems turns into a second battle on top of the game barely running. It doesn’t matter what settings I change or what adjustments I make not even a full Windows reset can save this game at this point. Every other title I play, does not matter what type even ones still in pre-beta and alpha, runs better than this. More demanding games with newer or fully custom engines are far more stable than this old engine that’s been Frankenstein‑stitched together over the years. This thing is held together with duct tape and hope, and it shows. Hope you all have a wonderful day or night. Love. ------Gizmo,
