Right now, I'm really just wanting to get the game to load and let me walk around my hangar. The card that came with the Craigslist Special that I bought is so weak SC just throws an error telling me the card is unsupported. Looking at the minimum specs on the site, they say a 1GB card will work. But will it? Would there be any point to buying a $60 card or would I just end up having to spend another $150 to get the game to be playable? I'm just looking for 1080p, 60Hz, nothing fancy. I do have a quad-core CPU and 8GB of RAM, so the rest of the system should be adequate for now.
