Hey guys, this is my first post, and I had some questions for the community. I built my computer waaay back in 2015 (partially in order to run Star Citizen, but I also needed that extra 500FPS for my sick Minecraft trick shot montages) and it worked great! Other than the 150+ GB of disk space the game required, I had no issues running it at the highest settings on a 1920x1080 resolution. I didn't play SC for around a year after my initial playtime, in part to wait for PU to release. Even in the PU's early stages I could run the game at a decent (around 40) fps on high settings. But now, I'm not sure if its the release of 3.0 or what, I cannot run this game without it feeling like I'm watching a slideshow (<5 fps). I was wondering if you guys could give me some tips and/or tricks to help me run the game more smoothly. Let me list my hardware below: -- GPU : Asus GTX 980 Matrix (4GB VRAM) -- CPU : Intel i7-4790K -- 16GB DDR3 RAM -- No SSD OK, so maybe it was a bit bougie back in the day, but with the release of the 1000 series and a plethora of new CPUs as well as DDR4 RAM, it isn't at the extreme enthusiast level it once so proudly displayed on CANYOURUNIT.com. But yeah, if there's anything I can do with software or RAM allocation or overclocking or something that will allow me to run this fantasy of a game once again, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help, and feel free to add me as a contact, I like new friends :slightly_smiling_face:
