Update: Subliminal shows the cross section of how the rudder twist works and when I saw the position and beefiness of the spring I was sold. Video starts at that cross section, watch video. OP: I can use the X-56 from now on, my easy fix was to place two rubber bands (One wider, one narrow) over the pinky switch mount, and above the ring that you twist to mount the stick to the base and pulled between the ring and the stick to give friction and then the other end back over the pinky trigger mount. It works great, I just added a little dead zone and it flies straight and true and is easy to manually return to center in the absence of a spring. I may venture forth into the handle sometime, but there are a ton of switches and sometimes they pop out and do not ever want to fit back in place correctly. I have a Winwing F-18 throttle and love it, so Winwing is a possibility if they have a stick with a rudder twist. I might break down and get some rudder pedals but really hate to right now as my gaming area is not ideal space wise and with my desk arrangement for pedals so just forget I even mentioned pedals, so a rudder twist is ideal. I am almost positive I was going to get a full HOTAS set when I upgraded to the Winwing throttle but had a hard time finding a big-name quality stick with twist rudder. Thank you.
