Gigabyte knowing about their exploding 80 Plus Gold power supplies and still continuing to sell them to unsuspecting DIY builders is the same kind of tactic Abit used to use when they sold motherboards with cheap quality capacitors that used to kill motherboards or literally make them ignite. DFI couldn't survive the market unfortunately but they were nowhere as bad as Abit was. But Gigabyte is probably the WORST tech company. https://www.tweaktown.com/news/81114/gamers-nexus-expose-gigabyte-power-supplies-exploding-50-are-doa/index.html Their market share is down in 2021 and they are losing the trust of consumers everywhere. This is how Abit ended up losing the gamer market and switching to just servers. I only bought one Gigabyte product during the early AM2 days and it wasn't very good. At this point no one is going to miss Gigabyte if they exit the enthusiast market. EVGA and XFX would probably start making motherboards again to pick up the slack. Gigabyte picked a fight with GamersNexus that they will lose.
