I upgraded from a 970 to a RX6800 (I'm a grandpa gamer, not a lot of money) back in March & I was playing on the ASUS 27in 1080p gaming monitor. I was only getting between 15-25fps with all settings on low. This past weekend I decided to try something stupid, and plugged into my 50" 4k TV. To my surprise, at 4k I'm getting between 40-60fps with 54 being the avg. Still playing on mostly low settings but can still get avg of 43 at mostly high settings. I'm not sure why this is the case, but I'm sure it has something to due with the way it's being developed. Maybe gpus have to downscale to 1080p or maybe I'm just an idiot, but it sure has been nice to play bunker missions w/o npc's moving 10ft every frame update I get, and being able to do bounty missions has been amazing. Even finally decided to get the cheap T16000m HOTAS to enter the stick universe, they arrive in 6 days. Wish me luck, and I'll see you in the verse!
