I just got it this morning 3 min before I was about to leave for work. Now I'm too tired for a full setup but here's a few subjective first feel thoughts. I was almost right, it is almost perfect. However, I am confident to say I believe this is the best 6dof stick on the market at the moment. What amazes me the most that with only one semi-caveat absolutely everything is in perfect position and reachable without even a slight need to adjust the grip when you put your hand on it and close your fist. The semi-caveat is that thumb hat which is positioned too far back and slightly too low so in your natural position it falls directly under the middle thumb joint instead of the tip of the thumb. But it can be operated like that as well, it just requires some getting use to. I have small hands and even with no palm rest the hat is still too low but it is certainly too far back, you have to fully cramp your thumb to reach it with the tip. The main trigger is very shallow both in profile and in draw. But the profile is quite sleek so it feels like a part of the grip, my finger naturally wants to rest on the rapid trigger that sticks out in front like a normal trigger. I love this personally because your grip is very near to closed fist - as like holding a sword instead of a gun which is very nice for overall feel in flight, that's what the Gladiator can do when you flip the trigger to safe, you just get a nice even grip. Good news for all that don't like this idea is like I said - everything is in perfect reach so you can use the rapid fire trigger instead which fells more like a standard trigger on most sticks as it sticks out in front. I particularly like the Z axis. It is a stiff bump on all 3 stops - left, right and middle as well which eliminates unwanted triggering while using x, y axis and the action is very smooth. The stick goes up a little on twist but this is not noticeable in normal use. I can't use it now because I need some grinding and drilling to do first so tomorrow I will have more feedback. Gonna have to saw down the X56 Monstertech mount to fit.. Oh yah, and it appears it comes standard equipped with just the right stuff for me so I don't think I'll be changing cams or springs any time soon. The action with no bump cams is absolutely fantastic, it's like the stick is stuck in jelly - no center bump whatsoever.
