So yesterday I upgraded to the new NVIDIA driver set 445.75. The result of it was well, unpleasant. Whenever I tried to launch Star Citizen, I would Crash-To-Desktop (CTD) within 3-5 seconds of clicking the launch button. Looking in game.log file indicated no faults. When I attempted to launch other games like Anthem for example, I would be able to get into the game. Problem was, the minute I was in the game, within 3-5 seconds, it would freeze, lock up. I would not be able to get out of the game and be forced to press the reset button on my case... So, I downgraded to 442.74, which was my previous driver set; upon restarting I got this: https://imgur.com/a/9lrZvrp Anyway, after the reboot everything went back to normal. Star Citizen would launch and I could get into my game. I could even launch my other games like Anthem and play no problems. So, I kept looking... Today I put back the NVIDIA driver set 445.75 again....and again, continous crashes... Further looking into the differences between the drivers I discovered that the new driver set has a new feature in the NVIDIA Control Panel. The feature set is called "Image Sharpening"; thus I disabled it. It appears disabling it worked! Thus, in order to avoid constant game crashes on the NVIDIA driver set 445.75; you have to disable the "GPU Scaling" along with the "Sharpening" NVIDIA Discussion Forum -> https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/350427/nvidia-44575-is-broken/ NVIDIA Feedback Thread on 445.75 -> https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/349235/geforce-44575-game-ready-driver-feedback-thread-re/ >>>> HOT FIX AVAILABLE HERE >>>> https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/download-geforce-445-78-hotfix-driver.html
