So, I'd like to share my experience, using one of the only two sellers Intel directs people to from their 900p pages. I went with mouser.com (.fr in my case), and this was the dodgiest thing ever. First of all, the price is jacked up nearly 200€ more than other seller on the web. Second, and this is rather golden, about two hours after ordering on their site (SSL secured, everything looks normal), I got mail from one of their employees, asking a copy of my ID (both sides) AND of my credit card (both side). Needless to say, my reply was not... keen. I logged a complain with the seller on their facebook page in another country (in case this is not a general practice of that company), to avoid the employee in question picking up the request, and I also notified Intel of this weird practice/request. So, I thought I'd share that with you citizens, to avoid anyone getting scammed (It does look horribly scammy :disappointed: ). Meanwhile, It got me some IMPORTANT informations: Part number: SSDPED1D480GASX is the promotional sale package. Part number: SSDPED1D480GAX1 is the reseller package (no mention of promotion, so I'm assuming this means no raven inside). Just for those still looking for one... :slightly_smiling_face: edit I got it today from the other seller, plugged it in, booted up, installed... copied all my other drive content (2 installs of SC since I have a backup install, just in case, wildwildwest online, and secret world legends), all was done in under an hour... bloody fast :smile:
