Hey guys, I'm looking for a hotas setup that would allow to forego pedals for rudder control, so basically a stick with twist for rudder, and a decent supply of buttons and stick to get avoid using KBM altogether while flying. I don't really have a budget, but I'll be more comfortable buying sight unseen if it's cheaper than... $300. What I've zeroed in on so far are the X52/X52Pro, and the X56. I'd like the X56 more, because it has tons of buttons, switches, and sticks, butmost important of all, let's be honest, it's RGB (in all seriousness, something that allows for low light usage is great as I like to play SC in the dark, a lot). The X56 has had terrible QC in the Saitek days it seems, so I was going to buy this one until it was brought up to my attention, and now, I'm a bit torn. I've repaired many gaming devices (mice and Xbox controllers), so unless the main stick sensors goes bad (I assume those are near impossible to source alone) and the whole thing just disintegrate, I can probably prolong its lifespan past what it would last out of the box. But I'd much rather have something reliable out of the box, so that's why I'm leaning toward the X52 Pro. But I'm open to other suggestions and feedback, as long as you stay away from the T16000. Thank you for your time.
