Time to upgrade my tired old monitor. Star Citizen is the only thing I play these days, with a focus on flight (e.g. I use dual sticks and prefer the flight-based aspects of the game... dogfighting, bounties, yadda yadda). After researching quite a bit, I'm thinking I may go with the new ASUS PG34WCDM, which has a pretty aggressive 800R curve. Thing is, I've never used a curved monitor before, so aside from knowing I want one (I feel it'll enhance flight immersion, in general) I don't know if 800R would be too extreme. Do any of you have this particular monitor and care to weigh-in... or maybe some other monitor with a similar curve? EDIT: I've also heard some SC players say that an ultrawide feels "vertically constrictive". Curious yall's thoughts on this too.
