So I'm having issues with my six-year-old desktop that I cannot seem to resolve. I'm dual booted with Linux, Windows 10 support is ending later this year, and I am unwilling to try to install Windows 11 on it for fear of clobbering all of my Linux files. (Windows tends to do that.) But as I said, I'm also having issues. So it seems like the right time to get a new desktop- as you can probably tell, I had been considering it anyway. I would probably NOT dual boot this one. But it has been a long time since I cared about the minutiae of computer hardware, so I need advice on what to buy for a good, modern Star Citizen system. Mostly, I understand that SC tends to be CPU limited, right? So I need advice on which CPU coupled with which GPU would be "optimized". Before anyone goes there, I am NOT willing to build my own. Hard no. It would be nice if it was something that I could order through Best Buy or some other chain, so that support is easy. Cost is not a practical consideration- I will use it to remote into work too, so I can deduct it. But, I mean, keep it reasonable. So, recommendations?
