So not wanting to spend an arm and a leg on custom build ones...and anyways, my desk has beveled edges...I sought out solutions. What I ended up buying are two of these: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=pd_bxgy_147_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=5S66Y8NATRQJXJ9EN2BW Because my desk doesnt have square edges...I bought some lumber...and cut it so that I now have a little ledge, that my monitor's weight is more then enough to secure (if you understand leverage and fulcrums you know why) I then mounted those monitor arms upside down (removing 1 of the arm sections). I went to the TM website and got PDFs of the stick and throttle and used that to cut out pieces of wood roughly the same shape, and drill holes for the mounting screws. I then put it all together. I will be painting it today...but wanted to show it unpainted so it's easier to tell where the mounts and wood are. I'll post more pick later...but here's the Throttle side No, the clamps dont block my view. Though if I really wanted, I could remove an inch by cutting the bracket in half. Tips: the monitor bracket they sit on is removeable on a nice sliding system with a nut that keeps it in place. However...there's some ever so slight wobble that is annoying on the stick side (less so on the throttle side)...easy fix though...the rails just needs to be a bit less narrow, I used my flat head plies and squeezed the end of the rails on both side and then it was super tight with no wobble when I put them on. You could likely use some really heavy duty velco..or something...instead of wood like I did. About a $60 job or so with all parts (2 mounts + wood + screws) And honestly...I really didnt need the screws to lock them down. I flew it just fine with them sitting on the raw wood like it was my desk. I just wanted extra security
