I currently fly with dual Alpha constellations on mongoose extended base from Virpil. Im planning to buy a rudder around hollidays, and im still discussing both the, Virpil ace collection , or the MFG crosswind v3 with 2 style pedals. The problem i have with the crosswinds from what i can see, is its lightweight, i have a PVC(plastic) floor, they will start sliding. and having another mat beneath it isnt the elegance im looking for. The problem i have with the virpils is, thats its metal and coldish. My feet do love some warm attention. Virpil will be within the same software which is nice. And it has a dual cam shaft design, so tension is the same bothways. Virpil is about 70$ more expensive. (hoping for some kind of discount) around the hollidays. Any ideas?
