hey all! I am currently running a gtx 970, with a amd fx 8350. Yes i can play SC, yes the frames rates are horroble unless im in space. I'm planning on building a new computer, because i need a upgrade. Here is my biggest problem; Im impatient, with the new gpu's and cpu's around the corner i know i should wait but D= Anyhow im planning on buying a m2 ssd 1tb, and 32 gb of ram, but is there anything else i should think about? The most cpu gpu intensive game i play is star citizen, other then that i enjoy total war, ffxiv etc. I do want my computer to be future proof so i was thkinging about trying to wait for the rtx 3080 series. But do i really need that? Some feedback would be much appreciated!
